Country Cousins client, Mrs M, turns a grand age of 108 in November. She has been with Country Cousins for 5 years now and the carers who have cared for her over the past years, Lindsay and Peggy, have thoroughly enjoyed being in her company.
Mrs M has not let age slow her down. At 100 years old, she taught herself how to use her iPad and email account. She is extremely independent and has a great sense of humour, making her carers laugh on a regular basis.
Peggy and Lindsay view Mrs M like family and the special bond they have with her makes returning to the placement, like returning home. Mrs M is benefitting from the care she is receiving, quoting to her carer Lindsay, “I’m going to live another 100 years with you being here.”
