Our carer training programme is aimed at supporting our live-in carers
Under our learning programme, there is less emphasis on ‘teaching’ and more value is given to a collaborative learning experience and supporting our staff through their own journey of developing knowledge, values and skills.
All of our carers are self-employed and as such, it is their responsibility to ensure the relevant training, listed below, is kept up to date yearly:
- Manual Handling
- First Aid
- Safeguarding of Vulnerable Adults
Self-employed carers are welcome to complete their training with any approved provider, however we do welcome existing carers registered with us to complete their training with Country Cousins.
Please be aware that we do not accept carers who are not registered with us onto our training courses.
