Apply to become a Cousin (Live-in)
We currently place over 400 Cousins per month in assignments all over the UK.
We have established a reputation for high quality care and the majority of our Clients
are introduced to us as a result of personal recommendation. Country Cousins undertake
a rigorous selection process, which includes checking against the Protection of
Vulnerable Adults (POVA) list, a face to face interview and induction, information
on best practice, reference checks and a Criminal Records Bureau Disclosure.
Applicants will need to be successful at each of these stages to be considered
for work with Country Cousins.
Applications can only be processed if you already have permission to work in the
UK.
To begin the application process you will need to return by post a completed application
form. This must be signed and returned with 2 passport sized photographs, a copy
of your passport and your permission to apply for your references. Please also provide
copies of your documents to prove your eligibility to work in the UK, if required.

The application process is as follows;
- Application form returned to Country Cousins, completed and signed with photos
attached.
- Personal references will be contacted with your permission, from the details supplied.
- Once satisfactory references have been received the applicant will be contacted
to arrange an interview/induction. These are held around the UK and the most suitable
location will be offered to you.
- Criminal Records Bureau (CRB) Disclosure applied for.
